I’ve eaten them in Japan many times—generally as a drinking snack, not the main course.
&lt;a href="http://news.3yen.com/2006-05-24/japanese-martian-diet-rice-beans-and-silkworm-pupae-yum/" title="YUM" rel="nofollow"&gt; Just fry 'em&lt;/a&gt; in hot oil. No salt or spices are necessary as the larvae taste fine on their own.</description>
