Technologically Cool, but seems not practical for domestica purposes. 8K price tag, 400KG and close to size of a small car is little too much for the drive ways. Also "pooping" ice seems a novel idea, but stacking slipery and heavy ice blocks is an accident waiting to happen. Also the snow collection mechanism can gobble up a pet or worst a kid, if a sensor fails to detec "life".

I-Shovel (http://www.i-shovel.com) seems more practical solution with small form factor, price and safety.

Now this is just plain awesome! It showcases the utility and technology of the autonomous mobile robot. I even dedicated an entire web page to Yuki on my website: www.nipperbou.com and it was voted "Coolest Bot" earning the featured robot of the month award. The price should come down substantially if demand exists enough to make enough to spread all those R&D cost over...I Want One. --Owen R Matthews @ www.nipperbou.com
