Video: Space boomerang

JAXA has finally gotten around to releasing video of astronaut Takao Doi’s successful space boomerang toss conducted inside the International Space Station’s Harmony Module in March. (Watch it.)

    I pondered this for a moment and thought it should not do what it’s doing (returning)… but then I realized the boomerang does not use gravity, but aerodynamics, to turn around and it started making perfect sense. The result should be obvious - but a cool little experiment nevertheless
